| Rice For The King project was initiated to commemorate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty, the King’s 85th birthday anniversary on December 5th, 2012. The concept was coordinated under Royal Patronage by the two foundations Chaipattana Foundation and Thai Rice Foundation in cooperation with Medifoods (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and sponsor parties. |

| The project aims to raise public awareness and to share success stories of Thai farmers who have adopted the Sufficiency Economy Theory developed by His Majesty the King, and the organic approach in their rice farming. Part of the proceeds from sales of the Red Ant 100% Jasmine Rice will be donated to the charities under His Majesty’s Royal Patronage. |
